One of five children, Millie spent her childhood in the Appalachian Region of Western Pennsylvania.  As a young adult, she worked for Sears Roebuck in a number of cities in western PA and then upstate New York.  The glass ceiling of the 60’s had Millie leaving Sears to join an advertising agency.

Married in Syracuse, NY to Soren Fournais (native of Denmark) and moving to the Midwest in 1974 with a new son, Erik, brought some changes to Millie’s life.

A mother and homemaker during the 70’s and then Real Estate beginning 1982.  Real Estate became Millie’s passion as it incorporated all the things she enjoyed.  Working with Realty Executives allows Millie to run a successful business, to work with her son, Erik, the Director of Comtrade Mortgage, to meet and interact with people from all over the world.
